Would you like to become a member of the Moon Township Volunteer Fire Company?

Qualifications:

• You must be at least 16 years of age and no more than 45 years of age. The maximum age requirement can be waved if you have prior firefighting experience.
  
• You must live within the township of Moon and lived here for at least 1 full year. Again, this can be waived with prior firefighter experience.
  
• You will be required to pass a drug test and physical before being accepted into membership.
  
• There is a $10 non-refundable application fee as well as a $50 fee for the drug test. The $50 will be reimbursed to you upon successful completion of the drug test.
  

Applications can be obtained from any active firefighter, or you can stop in at the Fire Station at the Public Safety Building (corner of Thorn Run Rd and Beaver Grade Rd) and ask Fire Marshal Belgie for one.

We have training nights every Monday night at 7pm. You can stop by any station then and talk to the firefighters and ask questions.
